What would you like to share about yourself?
I have 20 years’ experience working in Human Resources, a postgraduate Industrial Psychology degree from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from the University of South Australia. Based in Adelaide, most recently I was Group Manager Human Resources at the South Australian Water Corporation. I am highly skilled in creating and implementing people-related solutions that enhance the performance of organizations.
I have now established my own business, LeadingHR focusing on:
• Optimizing the performance of HR teams
• Delivering best practice people-related solutions
• Designing and implementing new HR processes
• Coaching high potential individuals and emerging leaders
• Creating alignment between HR and organizational goals
• Supporting high levels of performance with my engaging leadership style
I write a blog every 2 weeks in which I draw on my experience to provide practical ideas and information to help HR professionals tackle new processes, as well as ideas for career management and personal effectiveness. I love working with young HR professionals and I currently mentor 2 people through the UniSA mentorship programme. I also serve on the UniSA HR Curriculum Advisory Board.
