Have you ever wondered how your recruitment process - streamlined and perfected over many successful hires – can be thrown by what you feel should be a simple box ticking exercise; why your competitors have been able to snap up your ideal candidate before you could complete your due diligence; and why, at the end of the process, you’re left with a pool of second bests?
You’re not alone.
With mounting pressure to find and place candidates, increasingly global competition for talent, and heightened expectations from clients and leaders to recruit only the best applicants, HR professionals have never had as many challenges to contend with when recruiting.
Every role requires several processes to be completed and protocols to be met, and with many outdated and inefficient approaches still in use, recruitment can be a particularly frustrating procedure for busy HR professionals. It’s these challenges that can lead to rushed decision making and corner cutting, risking lost talent and bad hires.
We want to create a better understanding of the current situation and the impact it is having on our profession.
After uncovering the challenges and downfalls of the recruitment process from a candidate’s perspective in the Xref Recruitment Risk Index, released in late 2016, we are now turning the focus on the HR industry. We want to hear your thoughts on the recruitment process and, in particular, reference checking, to understand more about the impact it has on you.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and all responses will remain anonymous.
As a thank you for your time you’ll be invited to enter into a prize draw and we’ll be giving away one iPad Pro.
The survey closes Sunday 5 March 2017 at 17:00 AEDT.
